HP Hood LLC is one of the largest and most trusted food and beverage manufacturers in the United States, and they are seeking a Project Engineering Manager to oversee project activities. The role involves planning, directing, and coordinating project activities to ensure objectives are met within the specified time frame and budget.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
- Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
- Prepares project reports for management, client, or others
- Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
- Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, industrial, chemical, or Electrical Engineering fields of study if applicable, or 7 – 10 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, or Associate's degree and 15 years related experience
- Prior experience in the food, beverage, or related manufacturing industry preferred
- Basic knowledge of process controls and automation systems is advantageous
