The Frontline Engineer will be responsible for fielding support calls from customers, troubleshooting automation issues, and ensuring minimal delays during process startup and production.
Responsibilities:
- Field time-critical support calls related to DeltaV DCS, MES interfaces, and related systems
- Communicate with operations personnel to understand the scope of a problem, and relay necessary troubleshooting actions
- Identify and troubleshoot batch recipe issues within the DeltaV DCS system
- Identify and troubleshoot issues within MES interfaces
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to system hardware, software, network, and instrument bus technologies
- Generate accurate and concise call logs for tracking and change management purposes
- Work independently, remotely
- Work a rotating shift schedule
- Up top 5% travel to NC,SC, VA core R.E. Mason offices for trainings/meetings

- B.S. in CHE, EE, ME, Comp. Eng, Comp. Sci., other related disciplines OR
- 3+ years of relevant experience as an operator in a DeltaV controlled manufacturing facility
- MS Office Experience
- 1+ years of relevant automation experience with DeltaV Control Systems
- Experience with additional Control Systems or PLCs
- ISA S88 experience
- Understanding of regulated or validated systems
- Prior experience working in a relevant manufacturing environment
- Windows Server 2016/2019 and network troubleshooting skills
