Akoni Technologies is seeking motivated individuals for a Sales & Marketing Internship. The role focuses on sales and lead generation while supporting marketing initiatives, providing a strong foundation in business development strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and networking events
- Support the sales team by scheduling meetings, preparing proposals, presentations, and assisting with contracts and quotations
- Confidently present to potential clients and assist with closing deals under supervision
- Maintain and update CRM databases to reflect all sales activities, follow-ups, and performance metrics
- Build and nurture client relationships to support long-term business growth
- Participate in candidate sourcing via LinkedIn and other platforms to support our tech recruitment initiatives
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social channels
- Assist in writing content for social media, blog posts, and marketing collateral
- Feature in content creation including social videos, TikToks, and brand promotion media
- Help coordinate logistics for marketing events, trade shows, and internal campaigns
- Collaborate with external partners and suppliers for branded material, events, and campaigns
- Analyse marketing data and report on campaign performance as required
