About this role
Accion Labs is seeking a Sr. Business Data Analyst to translate business stories into technical deliverable requirements. The role involves data mining, creating data contracts, and identifying trends in complex data sets to support solution delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Translation of business stories into technical deliverable requirements
- Ability to create data contracts and perform required data mining to support solution delivery
- Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Ability to manage a variety of tasks concurrently and show flexibility in order to meet delivery timeframes
- Ability to identify process improvements and new techniques to improve team effectiveness
- Ability to rapidly acquire and apply new business domain and technical knowledge
Requirements:
- Business analysis
- Extensive ETL experience
- Building reports as a BA
- Key concept such as data contracts experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Stakeholder management
- Ability to create data contracts and perform required data mining to support solution delivery
- Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Ability to manage a variety of tasks concurrently and show flexibility in order to meet delivery timeframes
- Ability to identify process improvements and new techniques to improve team effectiveness
- Ability to rapidly acquire and apply new business domain and technical knowledge
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Ability to facilitate effective discussion, decision making and conflict resolution
- Experience working effectively in globally distributed delivery teams
- Experience of applying analysis techniques in a successful technology team delivering enhancements to data warehouses
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Knowledge of ETL tools
- Knowledge of data conversion
- Knowledge of data cleansing methods
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Knowledge of SQL to mine, aggregate, and gather data
- Experience with business intelligence tools (Cognos, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik)
- Knowledge with AI tools like (Copilot, Claude, Rovo)
