Boulevard is a client experience platform for appointment-based self-care businesses. As the Senior Product Marketing Manager for Competitive Intelligence, you will establish and lead the competitive intelligence function, providing insights that shape company strategy and product positioning.
Responsibilities:
- Build and scale Boulevard's competitive intelligence program from the ground up, establishing it as a core Product Marketing function
- Own a centralized competitive intelligence repository as the single source of truth, replacing fragmented input with structured, trusted insight across the organization
- Conduct deep, creative competitive research that goes beyond surface-level materials to uncover meaningful insights into competitor products, positioning, pricing, and strategy
- Embed AI into how you work: from scanning competitor moves and synthesizing teardowns to drafting battlecards. You’ll also rethink the formats that intel shows up in, moving beyond static decks toward AI-powered tools, briefings, and assistants that fit within existing workflows
- Develop a competitor tiering model to prioritize focus, and define the tooling and tech stack to support a scalable, high-impact CI program
- Analyze competitor announcements, product launches, and market movements, and develop forward-looking POVs on where competitors are heading. You’ll synthesize these signals into executive-level narratives that can be shared during exec and board meetings
- Run competitive briefings for customer-facing teams, and provide ongoing insights to Product, Product Marketing, and leadership to inform positioning, roadmap, pricing, and packaging
- Partner with the Content team to develop high-quality competitive content and assets
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Competitive Intelligence, Product Marketing, or a related role in a SaaS environment
- Proven experience building and owning competitive intelligence programs and repositories that drive impact with Sales and Customer Success teams
- Demonstrated curiosity and resourcefulness in uncovering non-obvious insights and connecting disparate signals
- Strong understanding of modern CI tools, workflows, and emerging approaches. Deep use of AI is an expectation
- Strong communication skills: the ability synthesize complex info into clear insights that influence cross-functional stakeholders and executives
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over output quality
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and building new systems from scratch
- Experience in vertical SaaS, particularly in selfcare (medspa, salon, or spa industries)
- Experience supporting mid-market or enterprise sales motions
- Background in strategy, consulting, or market research
- Experience building competitive intelligence programs from the ground up in a high-growth environment
