Cloud Data Engineer

IDR, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Data Engineer to join one of their top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves collaborating with teams to design and implement cloud-based data warehouse solutions, while enhancing healthcare data analytics capabilities using cloud solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to design and implement cloud-based data warehouse solutions
• Facilitate discussions and strategies around data architecture, technology implementation, and best practices
• Support ongoing efforts to improve data analytics and prepare for future AI and Gen AI initiatives
• Work primarily with platforms such as Snowflake, Power BI, and SAS to manage ETL/ELT processes
• Contribute to the analytics transformation of healthcare data systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare and government standards

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience with data warehouse, data lake, and analytics implementations
• Proven experience with Power BI, SAS, and Snowflake
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and Change Data Capture (CDC)
• Experience integrating with online transaction databases
• Preferred cloud platforms: AWS and Azure, with GCP exposure as a plus
