Merative is a company that empowers governments around the world to deliver smarter social services. The Senior Project Manager will lead large-scale, client-facing implementations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while aligning outcomes to client goals and profitability targets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee execution, monitoring, control, and closure of Merative projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives
- Manage project scope, cost, schedule, quality, change control, risks, and communications across the full lifecycle to meet or exceed expectations
- Ensure deliverables adhere to agreed terms and conditions and achieve approved profit and loss thresholds; provide regular status reporting and escalate issues with solution options
- Drive pricing and deal management by supporting profitability analysis, integrating Year-to-Year (YtY) cost rates into pricing models, coordinating deal structure with Deal Desk, and maintaining governance over pricing, discount, and margin guidelines across markets
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of project management experience (preferably in a software development environment) with a strong track record of delivering on time, within scope, and on budget
- Demonstrated success managing global, cross-functional teams in a multi-vendor, agile working environment; strong judgment, decision-making, and problem resolution skills
- Proven experience in client-facing delivery, negotiation and conflict resolution, and clear written/verbal communication with senior stakeholders; proficiency with delivery tools (e.g., MS Teams, Jira, Confluence) and quality management systems
- Proven success collaborating with Finance, Sales, and Operations to drive profitable growth; solid business and financial acumen; Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related discipline) or equivalent professional experience
- Experience working on government projects and/or within FDA-regulated environments
- PMP® certification and SCRUM (or other recognized Project Management certification)
- Ability to support operational improvements that reduce deal turnaround time, manual effort, and operational risk (e.g., SKU/service code structure and systems alignment)
