Role: Print Infrastructure Engineer HP Managed Cloud Migration

12 month Remote Contract

Overview
The Print Infrastructure Engineer will perform hands-on implementation tasks to upgrade HP Advance to R4 and migrate Disney s on-prem print environment into the HP Managed Cloud service under the direction of the Architect.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory existing print servers, printers, queues, and drivers.
• Build and configure new R4 servers; support side-by-side R3/R4 environment.
• Assist with migrating MFPs from DSS to R4 and decommissioning DSS and on-prem print servers.
• Execute migration steps to move print queues, drivers, and settings into HP Managed Cloud.
• Configure and validate pilot/test environments; perform functional and security testing.
• Support user acceptance testing, documentation updates, and 30-day hypercare/post-migration support.

Qualifications

• 2 4 years of experience with enterprise print or Windows server environments.
• Hands-on experience with print server configuration, MFPs, and drivers (HP experience a plus).
• Familiarity with Active Directory, permissions, and basic network troubleshooting.
