EDI Test Automation Engineer

IDR Inc. is seeking an EDI Test Automation Engineer to join one of their top clients for a remote opportunity. The role focuses on developing and implementing automated testing solutions for various healthcare EDI transactions, ensuring system reliability and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Support healthcare EDI transaction testing through automation to ensure quality and reliability
• Design, develop, and implement automated testing solutions for complex healthcare data exchanges
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize testing processes and improve overall system performance
• Utilize knowledge of EDI standards (270/271, 834, 835, 837) alongside automation frameworks and programming skills
• Drive continuous improvement efforts in test automation to support scalable and efficient software delivery

Requirements:

• Experience with EDI systems, specifically ITX and automation of EDI files using object-oriented programming languages such as Python or C#
• Proficiency in advanced test case development, system testing, and enterprise testing automation tools like UFT
• Strong knowledge of EDI standards (270/271, 834, 835, 837) and test automation frameworks
• Ability to develop, execute, and evaluate automated test scripts with an emphasis on quality assurance
• Excellent collaboration skills within cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality testing outcomes
