Job Description
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Architect with strong expertise in ServiceNow platform customization, workflow automation, integrations, and enterprise module implementation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and deploying scalable ServiceNow solutions to support IT and business process automation initiatives.
The candidate should possess deep technical expertise in ServiceNow core modules such as ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM, along with strong scripting, integration, and platform administration skills. Experience in workflow automation, API integrations, and ServiceNow best practices is essential.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Platform Development & Configuration
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Configure:

- Workflows
- Flow Designer automations
- Develop scalable and secure ServiceNow solutions aligned with business requirements.
Workflow Automation
- Design and automate workflows using:
- Flow Designer
- Workflow Editor
- Service Catalog workflows
- Optimize IT and business processes through automation and process standardization.
- Implement approval workflows, notifications, and orchestration solutions.
System Integration
- Develop and support integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems.
- Utilize:
- REST APIs
- SOAP APIs
- Integration Hub
- MID Server
- Ensure seamless data exchange and synchronization across platforms.
ServiceNow Module Implementation
- Lead or assist in implementing and supporting:
- ITSM (IT Service Management)
- ITOM (IT Operations Management)
- ITAM (IT Asset Management)
- Configure and enhance incident, change, problem, request, and asset management processes.
- Ensure alignment with ITIL standards and enterprise operational processes.
Scripting & Troubleshooting
- Develop client-side and server-side scripts using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
- Create custom business logic, automation scripts, and UI enhancements.
- Troubleshoot platform issues, resolve defects, and optimize system performance.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective solutions.
Documentation & Training
- Prepare technical documentation, functional specifications, workflow diagrams, and implementation guides.
- Conduct training sessions and provide support to end-users and support teams.
- Maintain system documentation and knowledge repositories.
Governance & Best Practices
- Ensure platform security, scalability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Follow ServiceNow development and deployment best practices.
- Support platform upgrades, patches, and continuous improvement initiatives.
