Key Responsibilities
Serve as the Product Owner for telecom services, ensuring alignment with business and operational needs
Lead and support telecom modernization initiatives, including migration and optimization efforts
Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve complex telecom issues across platforms and environments
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and user experience
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, infrastructure, security, vendors) to deliver telecom solutions
Document systems, processes, and institutional knowledge to ensure continuity
Provide hands-on technical support when needed in critical situations
Required Experience & Skills
Proven expertise in:
Microsoft Teams Phone migrations
Amazon Connect (AWS Connect)
Analog gateways and legacy telephony integration
Strong experience with Mitel PBX environments (required)
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex telecom issues in enterprise environments
Experience modernizing telecom systems and improving operational processes
Strong understanding of hybrid telecom ecosystems (cloud + on-prem)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education or large, decentralized organizations
Familiarity with telecom compliance, security, and governance best practices
Prior experience in Product Owner or similar leadership roles within telecom or unified communications
