Data Warehouse Engineer | Remote

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Data Warehouse Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions and ensuring data accuracy and security across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to support data ingestion, transformation, and integration from multiple sources
• Develop and optimize logical and physical data models within modern data warehousing environments
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data solutions
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data infrastructure for optimal performance and scalability
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all platforms and solutions
• Document technical processes, system designs, and data flows with clarity and precision

Requirements:

• Have expert-level proficiency in MySQL for complex querying, schema design, and performance tuning
• Possess strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation and automation
• Have hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines in production environments
• Demonstrate expertise with data warehousing concepts and best practices
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, focusing on clear documentation and collaborative problem-solving
