They are seeking a Manager of Sales Engineering to lead a healthcare-focused team, responsible for developing technical strategies and ensuring the delivery of customized solutions to healthcare partners in the western United States.
Responsibilities:
- Hire and develop a high-performing sales engineering team
- Refine sales engineering processes, including discovery, technical qualification, and proof-of-concept
- Coach your team to success with developing comprehensive solution proposals and delivering succinct, impactful product demonstrations
- Provide expert advice for requests for proposals (RFPs) and present recommendations to clients
- Create influence through technical whiteboarding and impactful presentations to your customers and their leadership teams with a keen eye on the personas in the room
- Collaborate across the organization to ensure solutions are implemented according to the customer’s expectations
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in technical, customer-facing roles
- 2+ years of experience directly leading and managing technical teams
- Deep Technical Expertise: Proven experience selling network security technologies (SSL/web technologies, proxies, firewalls, SSL/IPsec, VPNs, DLP, and end-user monitoring)
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Technology, a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Industry Certifications: Possession of CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSA, CISSP, or CCSP
- Strategic Engagement: A leadership style that balances high-level strategy with the ability to 'roll up sleeves' for strategic account wins
- Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of complex, multi-year sales cycles and expertise in value-based storytelling
