QA Automation Engineer

Cutsforth is a company seeking a QA Automation Engineer to ensure software quality through automated and manual testing. The role involves developing test plans, documenting results, and collaborating with stakeholders to address software issues.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough testing of software for bugs, defects, and other issues using both manual and automated methods
• Develop and implement detailed test plans and procedures to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Identify, document, and report defects and monitor their resolution to ensure they are addressed properly
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and address issues collaboratively
• Provide feedback on software usability and functionality
• Write and maintain automated tests using tools like Playwright or others
• Create and maintain thorough test documentation, design specifications, and test reports to support ongoing development and testing efforts

Requirements:

• 2-5 years in QA or software development
• 2-5 years of experience with Playwright, CodeGen, AI tooling
• Working knowledge of working in Claude Code
• Proficiency in software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
• Familiarity with bug tracking and version control systems
• Extraordinary attention to detail
• Successfully pass background check for cybersecurity access requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
