Porch Group is a leading vertical software and insurance platform focused on helping homebuyers. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their Inspection & Real Estate unit, responsible for outbound outreach and lead generation to support sales operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new business via mass communication such as email, SMS, and phone to introduce our SaaS solution within the target market
- Support sales team on outbound strategies and lead-generating efforts
- Build a strong pipeline of prospective customers by sourcing potential leads and passing off qualified opportunities to the sales team
- Implement creative ways to engage and build rapport to maintain your book of prospects
- Manage data for prospective clients in our CRM, ensuring all communications are logged and information is accurate
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of telemarketing and/or inside sales experience, specifically with B2B
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, driven, and desire to succeed
- Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced work environment
- Prior lead generation experience
- Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate
- Experience with Salesforce
- Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined activity quotas
- Coachable with an appetite to seek and, most importantly, adapt when feedback is given
- The ability to work independently in an environment that changes rapidly
- To be adaptable and think outside the box to proactively address potential roadblocks and/or issues
