VySystems is seeking a DevOps Engineer to lead the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and drive Infrastructure as Code initiatives. The role involves overseeing observability improvements and collaborating with various teams to design scalable AWS solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub
- Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform
- Oversee observability improvements using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Own and evolve the DevOps roadmap in collaboration with development and infrastructure teams
- Guide the implementation of container orchestration strategies using AWS EKS (Auto Mode) and tools like Karpenter, External-DNS, and Cert-Manager
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and IT leadership on cloud strategy and architecture decisions
- Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
Requirements:
- Experience in technical architecture, DevOps, or infrastructure delivery roles
- Hands-on DevOps experience in cloud-native environments
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code frameworks Terraform and AWS Cloud Formations
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies using GitHub Actions workflow
- Strong expertise in AWS services: EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC, ALB, WAF, etc
- Production experience managing Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS (Auto Mode)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes tooling: Karpenter, External-DNS, Cert-Manager
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and cloud security practices
- Experience with Datadog for monitoring and observability
- Strong background in Linux system administration and scripting (Bash, Ruby)
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools: AWS Cloud Watch, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
- Terraform Associate Certification
