Job Title: Industrial Athletic Trainer
Duration: 2+ years (strong possibility of conversion)
Location: San Diego CA 92108
Description:
- Level III: 5-8 Years of Experience. Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Assist in identifying and mitigating workplace hazards to promote a safe working environment.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of safety programs and emergency response plans.
- Monitor and maintain safety equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Document and report safety incidents, near-misses, and corrective actions to support continuous improvement.
- Deliver safety training and briefings to employees to enhance awareness of safe work practices.
- Collaborate with supervisors and safety advisors to address safety concerns and implement effective solutions.
- Stay informed on safety regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and proactive risk management.
Required/Need:
- Looking for someone who is a Certified ATC Trainer and a background in Kinesiology. Also, someone who has done corporate fitness or ex-military.
Some Notes on the Role:
- 2-year contract with a strong possibility of conversion based on performance and budget.
- Location: 5 days a week onsite at Mission- could travel to different locations
- Hours are 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM
