Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS Cloud Migrations (f/m/d)

Auvaria is a growing international cloud company with strong roots in Austria, dedicated to helping organizations pragmatically and securely transform their IT landscapes to the cloud. They are seeking a motivated and solution-oriented Senior DevOps Engineer to take on a central role in implementing complex cloud projects, focusing on architecture, design, and implementation of modern cloud solutions, particularly in migration projects.

Responsibilities:

• Leitung und Umsetzung von AWS Cloud-Migrationsprojekten
• Konzeption und Aufbau sicherer Landing Zones
• Migration von Applikationen, Infrastruktur und Datenbanken nach AWS
• Begleitung von Cutovers und Go-Lives mit starkem Fokus auf Stabilität und Sicherheit
• Design und Betrieb moderner CI/CD-Pipelines
• Umsetzung von Infrastructure as Code (z. B. mit Terraform)
• Automatisierung von Cloud-Umgebungen und Deployments
• Sicherstellung von Observability durch Monitoring-, Logging- und Alerting-Lösungen
• Migration und Betrieb containerisierter Workloads mit Kubernetes (EKS) oder ECS/Fargate
• Steigerung von Reliability, Skalierbarkeit und Performance produktiver Workloads
• Technischer Sparringspartner für Kundenteams auf Augenhöhe
• Unterstützung bei Migrations-Scoping und technischen Aufwandsschätzungen
• Klare Kommunikation von Architekturentscheidungen und technischen Trade-offs

Requirements:

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung (+4 Jahre) in DevOps, Platform Engineering oder Cloud Engineering
• Sehr gute, praxisnahe Erfahrung mit AWS
• Infrastructure as Code mit Terraform
• Aufbau und Betrieb moderner CI/CD-Pipelines
• Erfahrung mit Container-Plattformen wie Kubernetes oder ECS
• Verhandlungssicher in Deutsch und Englisch
• AWS-Zertifizierungen von Vorteil
• Erfahrung in Datenbank-Migrationsprojekten
• Praxis mit SRE-Prinzipien (Monitoring, Alerting, Reliability-Konzepte)
• Erfahrung in kundenorientierten Rollen oder im Consulting-Umfeld
