Senior Power System Studies Engineer - SCCAF - Data Center

Olsson is an engineering and design firm focused on improving the world through innovative solutions. The Senior Power System Studies Engineer will work with major technology companies, performing electrical engineering tasks, including short circuit analysis and arc flash studies, while coordinating with various teams and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with some of the world’s largest technology companies and other mission-critical clients
• Serve as an electrical engineer on projects, design calculations, write technical reports, and prepare documents
• Perform short circuit analysis and producing arc flash studies
• Coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients
• Travel to job sites for observation and attend client meetings

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team
• Ability to be a self-starter to take on a variety of tasks to best serve the client and their project work
• Investigation and troubleshooting of problems to find solutions
• Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering
• 8+ years or related electrical engineering experience
• Experience with Short Circuit Coordination and Arc Flash Study (SCCAF)
• Registered professional engineer (PE) required
• SKM and ETAP software experience
