Motorola Solutions is a global leader in mission-critical video and evidence management solutions. The Project Manager will be responsible for implementing Mobile Video solutions, ensuring project delivery on schedule and within budget while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Directs and coordinates the work activities of project team
- Demonstrates awareness of all nine areas of PMBOK project management, PRINCE2, or applicable PM standard with a firm understanding of two. Has knowledge of at least one major project phase. Is a major contributor to the development of the project plan
- Contributes to the fulfillment of projects and organizational objectives
- Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of the project
Requirements:
- High School diploma, plus a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Business, Communications, Finance, IT, Management, or Technology required
- Must have 3+ years of experience working in one of the following areas: Project Management, Program Management, Business Operations, or Sales required
- Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by our government customers
- PMP Certification preferred
- Strong presentation and negotiating skills
- Familiarity with Public Safety communications systems, software solutions or mobile video solutions
- Mobile video technology to include required wireless/LTE infrastructure, policy/procedures for retention/redaction/chain of custody, evidence management software and workflow a plus
- Self-motivated and team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives
