Hardware Engineering Manager (Remote)

Flare Services, LLC. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hardware Engineering Manager to oversee the design, development, and production of hardware products. This remote position requires leadership in managing a team of engineers and ensuring project timelines and budgets are met while driving innovation in energy products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of hardware engineers in the design, development, and production of innovative energy products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet technical requirements and adhere to project timelines
• Develop and maintain product development processes and procedures to ensure high-quality and efficient production
• Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to drive innovation and improve product offerings
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and mentorship to team members
• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of components and materials
• Oversee testing and quality control processes to ensure products meet safety and regulatory standards
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline production and reduce costs
• Monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates to senior management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to completion
• Experience with product development processes, including design, prototyping, testing, and production
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools
• Ability to work independently and remotely, while also collaborating effectively with a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges
• Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related meetings and events
• Knowledge of energy systems and renewable energy technologies is a plus
