Accion Labs is seeking an Oracle Data Engineer for a 12-month contract. The role involves developing ETL processes using Oracle technologies and integrating data from various sources, while collaborating with functional consultants and project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Extract HR data (employee, position, org structure, compensation, benefits, time, accruals) from UKG Pro or UKG Dimensions via APIs, BI exports, or authorized direct DB access
- Build Workday inbound integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, PECI/PICOF, and Workday Studio. Select the right pattern per object
- Implement CDC and delta patterns for steady-state post-cutover integrations using GoldenGate and AWS-native services
- Execute mock loads (Mock 1, Mock 2, Dress Rehearsal, Go-Live), produce reconciliation reports (row counts, hash totals, business-key matching), and drive variance resolution with functional teams
- Apply PII masking, role-based access on staging environments, and SOX-aligned change control
- Partner with Workday functional consultants, the Project Manager, integration leads, and client architecture team on cutover sequencing, fallback planning, and data sign-off
- Produce technical design documents, data mapping specifications, runbooks, and audit logs
Requirements:
- 8+ years of ETL development using Oracle DB, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and Oracle GoldenGate
- Strong SQL/PL-SQL expertise, including performance tuning and query optimization
- Proven experience in data reconciliation (row counts, hash totals, validations, exception handling, audit logging)
- Hands-on Workday integration/data load experience (EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, PECI/PICOF) with at least one production deployment
