DevOps Automation Engineer (AWS & Cloud Platforms)

DXC Technology is a global innovation partner that helps large enterprises transform and operate their technology ecosystems. They are seeking a DevOps Automation Engineer who will design, build, and optimize observability, automation, and operational solutions on AWS, while fostering a DevSecOps culture across teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement monitoring, automation, and observability solutions on AWS
• Continuously evolve the DevOps platform with a focus on scalability, resilience, and efficiency
• Lead the adoption of modern DevOps tools and engineering practices
• Define and enforce engineering standards, processes, and best practices
• Act as a technical reference, guiding teams and stakeholders on architecture decisions
• Implement DevSecOps practices by integrating security across the entire lifecycle
• Participate in the design, architecture, and delivery of critical solutions
• Administration of Jira and Confluence environments at scale
• Design and optimization of workflows, permissions, dashboards, and integrations
• Management of plugins, APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations
• User support, technical documentation, and runbook creation
• Translation of business requirements into efficient tool configurations

Requirements:

• 10–12 years of overall IT experience
• 4+ years of hands-on Kubernetes and containerization experience
• Strong experience building and running Docker-based solutions in production
• Experience working in Agile environments
• CloudFormation (required)
• Strong experience with Amazon Web Services: Lambda, S3, EC2, ECS, EKS, Fargate, VPC, Route53, ELB/NLB, CloudWatch, IAM, Auto Scaling
• Terraform (preferred)
• Ansible (preferred)
• Advanced Kubernetes administration (upgrades, scaling, troubleshooting)
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible in enterprise environments
• Advanced AWS security architecture experience
