Raydar is a company focused on transforming the U.S. mortgage industry through innovative AI technology. They are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead product development, engage with enterprise clients, and navigate compliance in the mortgage space.
Responsibilities:
- Own 0-to-1 product development across core platform areas — from problem definition through architecture, build, and launch
- Partner with engineering to prototype, spec, and ship AI-powered features using LLMs, retrieval systems, and workflow automation
- Engage directly with enterprise lending clients to surface requirements and translate them into scalable product solutions
- Contribute meaningfully to architecture discussions — reading codebases, flagging tradeoffs, and participating as a technical peer
- Navigate compliance and regulatory constraints inherent to the mortgage/lending space, embedding them into product decisions rather than treating them as afterthoughts
- Define success metrics, run structured evals on AI systems, and iterate based on real-world performance data
Requirements:
- Have launched net-new products from scratch — you've lived the 0-to-1 arc and can point to specific outcomes you drove
- Come from a technical background (software engineer, forward-deployed engineer, or equivalent) and still love getting close to the code
- Have worked in a regulated industry — fintech, mortgage/lending, insurtech, or healthcare and understand that compliance is a design constraint, not a blocker
- Have hands-on experience with LLMs: prompting, evals, retrieval architectures, fine-tuning tradeoffs
- Are comfortable with ambiguity and energized by defining the problem before jumping to solutions
- Hold a BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field
- Based in the United States (remote)
- Work authorization — visa sponsorship NOT available
- Technical degree (CS, Engineering, or equivalent)
- 0-to-1 product ownership with demonstrable shipped outcomes
- Regulated industry experience
- Direct experience with mortgage origination systems (LOS), underwriting workflows, or lending infrastructure
- Experience at a high-growth startup where you operated across multiple product areas simultaneously
- Familiarity with enterprise B2B sales cycles and how product decisions affect renewal and expansion
