Ulteig is currently seeking talented and motivated candidates for the Senior Electrical Engineer position in their Grid Modernization team. This role involves developing and executing Medium Voltage Distribution Grid Modernization work, including creating technical solutions and collaborating with clients to address distribution system challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate collaboration across disciplines and project team members
- Serve as client contact to define project scope and understand requirements
- Develop capital construction plans supporting Grid Modernization initiatives
- Create technical solutions to address client distribution system challenges
- Perform distribution planning studies, including Distributed Energy Resource (DER) impact analysis
- Prepare deliverables such as system study reports, consultative reports, capital construction plans, cost-benefit analyses, and construction specifications
- Partner with clients to develop customized solutions for distribution grid challenges and modernization goals
- Provide oversight of QA/QC processes for deliverables prepared by team members
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school
- Minimum of 14 years engineering experience is required
- PE license required
- Proficiency in Synergi Electric, Milsoft Windmil, or Eaton CymeDist is required
- Must have authorization to work permanently in the US

- Ability to adapt and modify standard techniques to solve multifaceted problems
- Ability to provide expert consultation for the design, development and implementation of technical plans and systems
