Accion Labs is seeking a Data Engineer with expertise in Workday to support a large-scale Workday implementation program. This role will focus on data migration from UKG to Workday and building ETL pipelines to ensure data integrity and integration readiness.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support data migration activities from UKG to Workday, including data extraction, transformation, and validation
- Design and build ETL pipelines to move data from Workday to downstream enterprise systems
- Perform data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation activities
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to align HR data models and business processes
- Develop and maintain data validation and testing frameworks (pre/post migration)
- Support integration efforts using Workday tools (EIB, APIs, Web Services) and external ETL platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues across systems and integrations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in HRIS migration projects (UKG, PeopleSoft, ADP, etc. to Workday preferred)
- Strong experience in Data Engineering / ETL development (Python, SQL, PySpark or similar)
- Hands-on experience with Workday integrations and data migration
- Expertise in data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, and validation
- Experience working with APIs, XML, SOAP/REST-based integrations
- Familiarity with Workday integration tools (EIB, Workday Studio, Cloud Connect)
- Strong understanding of HR data domains (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, etc.)
