Senior Java Developer/AWS

Cognizant is a leading company in digital engineering, seeking a highly qualified Senior Java Developer/AWS. The role involves developing high-quality applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC , ensuring alignment with business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to design and deliver scalable, AWS-based solutions
• Manage and optimize data using SQL/MySQL , while implementing JavaScript-based front-end enhancements for improved user experience
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, conduct code reviews , and ensure adherence to best practices, security, and compliance standards (including Cards & Payments)
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle , mentor junior engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in a hybrid work environment
