Farmonaut® is hiring a Sales Development Representative to engage with pre-qualified leads and guide them toward purchasing satellite-based intelligence services across mining. The role emphasizes handling inbound and outbound leads, utilizing lead data to drive meaningful conversations and conversions.
Responsibilities:
- Contact inbound and pre-qualified outbound leads provided by our team
- Review available lead data before initiating conversation
- Start conversations with context and relevance
- Build trust quickly by demonstrating understanding of the prospect’s situation
- Clearly explain our satellite-based services in a simple and relevant way
- Tailor the value proposition based on the lead’s known use case
- Help prospects understand how our solution applies to their land or objective
- Focus on contextual, need-based conversations rather than generic pitching
- Guide conversations to identify the most suitable report or analysis type
- Help prospects choose between different service options
- Ask targeted follow-up questions to refine requirements
- Ensure clarity on: Objective (exploration, validation, monitoring, etc.), Area of interest, Expected outcomes
- Move qualified leads toward purchase or commitment
- Handle basic objections and clarify doubts
- Maintain momentum in conversations to reduce drop-offs
- Coordinate next steps such as report initiation or internal handoff
- Reach out to selected prospects provided by our team
- Conduct focused cold calls or follow-ups where required
- Introduce services and generate initial interest
- Transition interested prospects into the standard qualification and conversion flow
- Log all interactions clearly in the CRM
- Update lead status and key insights after each call
- Follow structured workflows and scripts where applicable
Requirements:
- Experience in SDR, inside sales, or closing roles (B2B preferred)
- Comfortable handling warm and informed prospects
- Willing to do some cold outreach, but not as a primary activity
- Ability to understand and explain technical or semi-technical services
- Strong communication skills with a consultative selling approach
- Self-driven and reliable in a remote work environment
