Minimum 2 years of experience with Government Clients + Current certification in business analysis (i.e. CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, CPRE, or other equivalent industry certification).
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Eliciting, documenting, analyzing, communicating, and verifying requirements.
- Acting as liaison between business stakeholders, such as management, customers or end users, and the software development or information technology team.
- Analyzing and communicating stakeholder needs by translating business requirements into solution requirements.
- Using business modeling, testing and data models to improve the flow of information through an organization to enhance project success.
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, and identifying areas for process improvement.
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing ad hoc reports as required.
- Updating and maintaining procedures and process documentation.
- Monitoring analysis deliverables and ensuring timely completion and delivery of project artifacts.
Desired Qualifications:
- Possession of a Bachelor s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent in the fields of computer science, technology, or management.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working on information technology (IT) projects in support of governmental agencies.
- Possession of a valid and current certification in business analysis (i.e. CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, CPRE, or other equivalent industry certification).
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working on IT projects where a CRM platform was utilized.
The Business Analyst may provide knowledge in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts or in translating business process needs into technical requirements. The Business Analyst uses available computer systems resources and personnel to carry out analysis to support management's quest for performance improvement to determine the most useful business solution.
In addition, the Business Analyst may:
- Implement a comprehensive management plan for each project and hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress
- Determine and document user requirements for business processes and abide by those requirements for future projects
- Reviews and analyzes information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes and procedures
- Provides expertise in, but not limited to, Configuration Management, Strategic Planning, Knowledge Management, Business Analysis and Technical Analysis.
