AI/ML Engineering Intern

UST HealthProof is a technology-driven company that transforms lives through innovation. They are seeking an AI/ML Engineering Intern to build LLM-driven systems and develop reusable AI solutions across various industries, focusing on responsible AI frameworks and modern engineering stacks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop reusable AI, data, and platform accelerators that move from concept to production, integrating multi-model orchestration, copilots, and agentic pipelines for client adoption
• Apply AI and data engineering to healthcare, retail, and financial services, combining GenAI, traditional ML, and domain context to deliver measurable outcomes
• Engineer guardrails and evaluation systems for AI applications, including safety, bias mitigation, explainability, privacy, compliance, and model risk management across LLMs and agents
• Build scalable systems using Python, APIs, microservices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), with MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD, observability, and agent runtime management
• Work with tool use, memory systems, retrieval pipelines, agent orchestration, evaluation harnesses, and secure AI architectures to move beyond demos into production-grade systems

Requirements:

• Pursuing Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Engineering, or related fields
• Curious, hands-on, and excited to build
• Comfortable experimenting, breaking things, and fixing them
• Passionate about technology with purpose
• Strong in problem-solving, collaboration, and creative thinking
• Experience with AI, ML, cloud, or software projects (academic or personal) is a plus
