Business Systems Analyst

Beacon Hill is a global biopharmaceutical leader seeking a Level 2 Business Systems Analyst to bridge the gap between manufacturing operations and technical development. This role focuses on translating complex manufacturing needs into actionable technical solutions and driving process improvements across global sites.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and document detailed requirements by collaborating with scientists, manufacturing SMEs, and developers
• Translate manufacturing and process needs into clear technical specifications for internal tool development, with emphasis on identifying process deviations
• Create process flows, validation artifacts, and compelling data visualizations to support decision-making
• Manage value tracking by capturing metrics, monitoring tool usage, and demonstrating business impact
• Facilitate communication and feedback loops across technical, scientific, and business stakeholders
• Partner closely with Data Science, Process Sciences & Technology (PS&T), and global Manufacturing Operations teams

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, Process Engineering, or Manufacturing analytics
• Strong ability to lead requirement-gathering sessions and translate business needs into technical requirements
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills — comfortable presenting to mixed technical, scientific, and executive audiences
• Proficiency with Power BI, Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Dataiku and Python exposure strongly preferred)
• Experience creating process flows, documentation, and validation artifacts
• Background in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or biologics is highly preferred
• Familiarity with bioprocessing or software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Hands-on Python experience in an analytics environment
• Prior exposure to manufacturing shop-floor processes or deviation management
