SoTalent is looking for a Market Manager – Cement to lead territory growth across South Central Ohio to Northern Kentucky. This role involves strategic sales leadership, territory management, and technical customer support within the construction materials sector, focusing on driving sustainable revenue growth and strengthening customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory business strategy to grow or protect market share
- Lead sales and marketing initiatives within the assigned territory
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term customer relationships
- Set and deliver revenue and product growth targets
- Apply value-based selling strategies to maximise account potential
- Provide basic technical support and resolve customer product issues
- Monitor market performance, competitor activity, and product quality
- Track and manage major sales opportunities through the full sales cycle
- Gather market intelligence and build a robust customer pipeline
- Promote and comply with health, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (Business, Engineering, or similar preferred)
- 3–5 years in the construction materials industry
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Proactive, organised, and results-driven mindset
- Comfortable working independently in a remote role
- Proficient with CRM and reporting tools (Salesforce, SAP, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to travel within the territory
- Compliance with safety standards and use of required PPE
- Cement sales experience strongly preferred
