Principal Data Center MEP Engineer

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking Principal Data Center MEP Engineers to join their Data Center Mission Critical Group. This role involves leading engineering design and analysis projects for Data Centers, focusing on creating precise documents and fostering collaboration to deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Drive impactful solutions in the power industry through expert design, analysis, and cutting-edge data center systems
• Lead projects with vision, fostering collaboration, and delivering cost-effective, high-quality solutions
• Develop detailed designs, calculations, and documentation, transforming concepts into executable plans
• Conduct site inspections and provide practical support to ensure seamless construction and design implementation
• Work across disciplines to create holistic, forward-thinking solutions that drive engineering excellence

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• Typically requires 6 years of experience in a design engineering role in hyperscale data center design
• Typically requires 15 years of total design experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including, but not limited to, Word and Excel
• Minimum basic level of proficiency in CAD software
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
• Ability to be a lead responsible engineer for a project involving multi-discipline work
• Must be able to climb ladders and/or stairs at client sites
• Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs
• PE – Professional Engineer preferred
• ETABS software experience strongly preferred
