LMI is a digital solutions provider dedicated to accelerating government impact with innovation and speed. The Senior SharePoint and Power BI Specialist will design, build, and operate collaboration and reporting solutions to support the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), leveraging expertise in SharePoint and Power BI to enhance decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and operate the collaboration and reporting backbone for a fast-moving technical organization in direct support of the warfighter
- Architect site structures, information architecture, and permission models in SharePoint Online
- Build modern sites, communication hubs, and document libraries with metadata, content types, and retention
- Develop SPFx web parts or Power Apps integrations where out-of-the-box does not fit
- Build production-grade semantic models, write performant DAX, design clean and decision-ready dashboards, and operate workspaces with proper deployment pipelines, row-level security, and refresh schedules
- Turn raw data into the visuals senior leaders actually use to make decisions
- Partner with the Data Engineering and Power Platform teams to ensure SharePoint and Power BI consume curated, governed data and so apps, sites, and reports work as one connected experience
- Proactively solve unusual and/or complex problems with little, or no direction given and thrive in a fast-paced technical environment that prioritizes mission impact and speed
- Build executive review decks and brief results to GO/SES-level stakeholders
Requirements:
- Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance
- Minimum of 5-years of combined hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and Power BI in enterprise environments
- Demonstrated expertise architecting SharePoint Online: site collections, hubs, information architecture, content types, and permission models
- Strong Power BI skills: semantic modeling, DAX, Power Query (M), workspace administration, deployment pipelines, and row-level security
- Experience integrating SharePoint and Power BI with the broader Microsoft 365 and Power Platform ecosystem
- Working knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PnP PowerShell, and Microsoft Graph
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate operator needs into sites, reports, and dashboards and brief results to GO/SES-level stakeholders
- Experience operating in a governed environment with DLP policies, sensitivity labels, and tenant-level administration
- Active DoD Top-Secret Clearance
- Microsoft Certifications: PL-300, MS-700, or equivalent
- Hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 GCC High and Azure Government
- Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate for end-to-end solutions
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and the broader data platform
- Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or Special Operations customers
- UI/UX sensibility for executive-grade dashboards and modern SharePoint sites
