They are seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead the narrative and strategy for their storage offerings, ensuring a clear understanding of how their innovations deliver business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Evolve and build upon unified storage platform story into a clear, outcome-driven value proposition that leads with solutions aligned to hybrid cloud, data modernization, cyber resilience, and AI readiness
- Define clear positioning against key competitors and ensure differentiation is consistently reflected across all content
- Ensure consistency across messaging, launches, campaigns, and field activation
- Develop and execute GTM strategies across the storage portfolio, including messaging and positioning for VSP One midrange, high-end systems, and SDS offerings
- Translate product capabilities into customer-relevant use cases, solutions, and business outcomes
- Drive integrated launches that reflect both portfolio cohesion and product differentiation
- Partner with Sales and Partner teams to deliver clear, actionable messaging and enablement that resonates with customers
- Build and scale sales plays aligned to priority use cases, ensuring the field can confidently articulate why Hitachi Vantara wins at both platform and product levels
- Act as strategic partner to product management by bringing the voice of the market (customer, competitive, and analyst insights) into roadmap discussions to influence product strategy
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of product marketers fostering a culture of innovation, agility, accountability, and customer-centricity
- Build repeatable and consistent frameworks for messaging, launches, and portfolio storytelling
- Establish KPIs to measure impact
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product marketing for enterprise B2B technology, software and/or services
- Expertise in data infrastructure, storage, hybrid cloud, and/or AI/analytics markets
- Great storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical innovation into clear, compelling narratives
- Demonstrated ability to lead product marketing for multi-product portfolios and drive growth in a fast-paced, high-change environment
- Executive presence and experience working with senior leadership
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Creative, proactive leader with growth mindset and exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
