OLIPOP is a company on a mission to positively impact consumer health through innovative soda products. The Kroger Customer Planning Manager will enhance sales efficiency by providing strategic insights and collaborating with various teams to implement effective sales strategies, requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to build relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage accurate sales, production, and operational targets based on historical data, market trends, and business forecasts
- Maintaining accurate promotional planning and spending information across our planning tools
- Ensure contracts/submissions are up to date and tracked effectively
- Support with post Promotional Analysis to ensure the strongest ROI on trade strategy
- Work with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply and other departments to ensure alignment on targets, timelines, strategies and resource allocation
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
- Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations on performance
- Effectively communicate strategies and priorities to field teams and 3rd party merchandising partners to optimize sales at Kroger
- Provide necessary customer support functions, to ensure optimal sales and revenue to be realized
- Oversee the input and management of promotional plans in customer portal
Requirements:
- 5+ years of customer planning and/or retailer account management experience within the CPG industry
- Direct experience working with Kroger at the headquarters level
- Hands-on experience with Market 6 and Kroger On Demand capabilities
- Proficiency in Anaplan (or similar forecasting tools), Syndigo/1WorldSync, and Kroger new item setup processes
- Experience operating across a hybrid route-to-market model, including Warehouse, KeHE, and DSD partners
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, compelling insights for leadership
- Demonstrated ability to align sales execution with strategic business goals through data-driven storytelling and insights
- Development of primary and contingency plans to deliver results
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel across the country, including evenings and potentially weekends for special events/team off sites
- Clean driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of insurance
