Engine is transforming business travel into a personalized and simple experience. As a Principal Design Program Ops Manager, you will optimize the product development lifecycle, ensuring efficient operations and alignment among design, product, engineering, and executive teams.
Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Actively create, improve, and document scalable, agile processes to ensure our design and product teams are aligned and operating at an excellent rhythm
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the connective tissue between design, product, engineering, data, and executive leadership to facilitate communication, align on project timelines, and identify opportunities for increased efficiency
- Operational Excellence: Partner with stakeholders to identify and resolve operational roadblocks, streamlining workflows to help design and product teams deliver as much as they can
- Feedback & Communication: Provide excellent communication to the broader business on product updates and release timelines. Gather product signals from customer-facing teams and external sources to help inform product strategy
- All things data: Customer behavior, sentiment and conversion are all critical data points to building the best possible product. Centralize and operationalize product data to inform our roadmaps and product strategy
- Tool & System Administration: Act as a subject matter expert for our design tools (e.g., Jira, Figma, Asana), providing support and ensuring they are configured to enable efficient workflows
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience building out operations for design and/or product teams
- Exceptional at prioritization and distilling complex processes or problems into their simplest form
- Rolling out changes iteratively, and ensuring projects stay on time and on task
- Deep understanding of product development lifecycles and agile methodologies
- Experience presenting strategic plans to C-level executives
- Hands-on problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
