Senior Software Engineer (Python, Angular)

Vero is an AI infrastructure startup that partners with NVIDIA and other organizations to shape the future of data centers. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop APIs, backend services, and frontend tooling for managing large-scale GPU environments.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain core platform services, APIs, dashboards, and internal tooling to manage large-scale infrastructure
• Develop software supporting GPU cluster lifecycle, managed services, and both customer and operator workflows
• Write clean, well-tested code, contributing to design reviews and overall system architecture
• Integrate platform services with automation, telemetry, provisioning, inventory, and support systems
• Collaborate with DevOps to package, deploy, and operate services across air-gapped environments
• Work with SRE and Infrastructure teams to enhance observability, incident response, and Day 2 operations
• Partner with Solutions to turn recurring customer needs into scalable, reusable platform features
• Maintain high-quality documentation, APIs, and engineering standards

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience building backend services, APIs, platform or internal tools and some frontend
• Python, TypeScript, SQL
• REST APIs or gRPC APIs
• Kubernetes or Slurm (ideally both)
• Experience building secure, production-grade systems (auth, RBAC, audit logging)
• Experience integrating with monitoring, provisioning, and orchestration systems
• Angular
• Familiarity with GPU systems and AI infrastructure
