Role: Data Entry & Processing Specialist (State Government)
Location: Remote/Hybrid (with potential onsite/virtual collaboration in South Dakota)
Duration: Up to 36 months
Overview:
We are seeking a Data Entry & Processing Specialist to support the Client
This role focuses on data entry, verification, and processing of claims and records in a highly regulated Medicaid environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and processing of records and claims
- Review and verify documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Utilize systems such as:
- Mainframe
- Datacap
- Provider Enrollment Portal
- File Director
- Validate data against multiple sources (manual + system-based)
- Process and index claims (CMS-1500, UB-04 / CMS-1450)
- Apply policies and procedures during data handling
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy
- Support provider/stakeholder outreach as needed
- Track work completion and ensure adherence to deadlines
- Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as required
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in data entry, processing, and verification roles
- Familiarity with claims processing (CMS-1500, UB-04)
- Experience working with:
- Datacap
- Provider Enrollment systems
- Document management tools
- Understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance standards
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and quality expectations
- Experience in healthcare / Medicaid environments (preferred)
