Senior Data Engineer

DeepRec.ai is a fast-growing Series B healthcare AI startup seeking multiple Senior Data Engineers to expand their Data Engineering team. The role involves building and owning data pipelines that integrate data from large healthcare organizations into a modern cloud data platform, directly impacting patient care delivery.

Responsibilities:

• You will join a small team responsible for integrating data from large healthcare organisations into a modern cloud data platform
• Day to day, you will be building pipelines, validating data quality, and ensuring the right data reaches the right systems reliably and on time
• You will also contribute to shared tools and frameworks that make future integrations faster — work that scales well beyond your individual projects

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience building production data pipelines
• Strong Python programming skills (core requirement) for data transformation and pipeline development
• Experience working with Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric
• Solid SQL skills (important, but secondary to Python)
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and distributed processing tools
• Comfortable working with healthcare data formats and standards, or willing to learn quickly
• Experience with Azure cloud services
• Background in healthcare data or EHR systems
• Experience with modern lakehouse architectures
• Exposure to real-time data pipelines or message-based data feeds
• Experience in a SaaS or multi-tenant environment
