DoorDash is a technology and logistics company focused on empowering local economies. The Product Compliance Manager will support compliance strategy and execution for DoorDash’s merchant capital program, ensuring that products meet regulatory obligations while enabling business success.
Responsibilities:
- Stay current on regulatory changes, enforcement trends, and industry best practices affecting business-facing financial products
- Translate legal and regulatory requirements into operational guidance and product specifications
- Support audits, bank partner requests, and regulatory testing related to the DoorDash merchant program
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to merchant lending regulatory compliance as well as card networks and bank partner requirements
- Develop and support governance functions such as testing, issue management, and compliance reviews
- Support customer service on complaints related to DoorDash Merchant workstreams, advise on resolution, including corrective action, where appropriate
- Conduct and/or manage compliance assessments and contribute to the design of scalable, risk-based controls
- Identify control gaps and support remediation plans in partnership with cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in regulatory compliance in the financial services industry, preferably fintech, with a focus on commercial and revenue-based financing
- Strong understanding of federal and state regulations related to financial products, such as BSA/AML, Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and Regulation B, and state commercial finance disclosure laws
- Experience maintaining a fintech compliance program, bank partnerships and third party vendors
- Ability to work well with ambiguity and synthesize large amounts of complex information
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Exceptional judgment and integrity, ability to handle complex matters independently, and product-minded approach to compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, accurate, organized, and able to set priorities
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM))
