Körber Supply Chain is a company dedicated to innovation and collaboration in developing future technologies. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead integrated automated material handling projects across North America, overseeing all project components to ensure alignment with organizational goals and successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- You will manage all aspects of assigned projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholder communication
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams and subcontractors, setting priorities and resolving conflicts as needed
- Ensure system designs meet all contractual and technical requirements
- Develop, maintain, and control the project master schedule to ensure timely completion
- You will monitor and report project progress on a weekly and monthly basis
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and project participants
- Manage risk throughout the project lifecycle and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Maintain overall responsibility for the project budget, aiming to deliver results within or below financial targets
- You will provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering collaboration and team development
- Perform additional duties as required to support project execution and organizational objectives
Requirements:
- You have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience
- 10+ years of project management experience with increasing responsibility, ideally in automation, parcel, warehouse, or similar industries
- Proven track record managing large-scale projects (>$50M) with experience in cross-functional or international teams
- Strong project planning, execution, and organizational skills, including managing competing priorities, deadlines, and diverse stakeholders
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, managing vendor relationships, and using project scheduling tools and ERP/project management systems
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) and familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to travel up to 50% and work extended hours during critical project phases
