Senior Information Security Engineer

Horizontal Talent is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to join their dynamic team, where you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding cutting-edge technology. You will be instrumental in implementing security measures and driving continuous improvements for application development processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth code reviews to identify security vulnerabilities and provide remediation guidance
• Lead application security assessments, including threat modeling and defining security requirements
• Collaborate with teams to integrate security controls into development practices
• Maintain secure coding standards and provide coaching to engineering teams
• Monitor and respond to security incidents according to established procedures

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of secure software development practices and application security technologies
• Experience with cloud-native and containerized security concepts, particularly AWS IAM
• Ability to conduct security reviews and implement effective security systems
• Demonstrated experience in secure code review and vulnerability management
• Excellent interpersonal and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java
• Experience with AI/ML security reviews and MLOps controls
• Knowledge of recognized security frameworks relevant to app and AI security
• Possession of relevant certifications like CISSP or OWASP is desirable
