Software Engineer - Full Stack

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software Engineer - Full Stack to create user-friendly web applications and tools. The role involves collaborating with UI/UX designers and back-end developers to enhance user experience while ensuring accessibility and security requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate UI and UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience using React
• Ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front-end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements
• Implement solutions, learn new tools and techniques, identify system improvements, and mentor teammates
• Create an amazing user experience and resolve problems in critical tools by collaborating with a development team

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software development with front-end programming languages and web development stacks, such as Python, React, Node.js, Next.js, or CSS
• Experience with user requirement gathering to inform UI designs
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative and cross-functional team
• Knowledge of API integration
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 3+ years of experience in software engineering, or 7+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
• Experience with container orchestration software such as Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud technologies
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
• Secret clearance
