Sr. Software Engineer - Full Stack

Lyra Health is a leading provider of evidence-based mental health care, serving millions globally. They are seeking a Sr. Fullstack Engineer to take ownership of the full-stack development process, improve their microservices, and collaborate with various teams to enhance their platform for mental health care.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the full-stack development process, from designing backend APIs to implementing the frontend components that will consume them
• Create lasting impact by building and continuously improving our Python and Java-based microservices
• Work with fellow engineering team members to collaboratively create and refine technical designs and solutions
• Collaborate with key partners including data science, product management, design, and behavioral health specialists
• Follow and promote best practices during all phases of software development, adhering to the highest quality and security standards
• Drive continuous technical improvement for our platforms and tooling

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 6+ years of experience developing enterprise or consumer web applications
• Relevant professional experience building scalable back-end services and APIs using Python and/or Java/Spring
• Relevant professional experience developing web applications with React.js and React Native
• Highly proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with Amazon web service
• Experience with state-management libraries like Redux
