Providing operational services, assistance, program implementation, and coordination for one or more day-to-day Medicaid operation functions
Coordinating recurring state-mandated reports
Managing regulatory inquiries and operational escalations
Partnering with stakeholders across Medicaid claims, care coordination, encounters, customer service, and other business areas
Gathering, validating, and delivering information required by the State of Illinois
Resolving complex and escalated operational questions
Working with other areas of the organization on the development, testing, and implementation of program policies, business processes, and system changes
Requirements
Bachelor Degree and 1 year experience OR 5 years’ experience in business analysis, process improvement, strategic planning, research, project management, product administration, product operations or relevant health care industry experience
Project management skills, including strong organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills
Strong oral, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Experience interacting with personnel of multiple departments and at various levels in the organization
Analytical and information synthesis skills
Verbal and written communication and organization skills
Experience with changing assignments and priorities
PC proficiency to include MS Office products
Knowledge of regulatory reporting, compliance activities, or state contract requirements.
