Role Overview
- Lead contract negotiation and risk management for design and construction projects
- Negotiate complex design-build and engineer-procure-construct (EPC) contracts
- Serve as trusted project counsel to project teams
- Assist with the management of professional liability and construction insurance programs
- Handle risk management and corporate governance strategy across entities
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in at least one U.S. state
- 5+ years in legal experience ideally with an Architecture, Engineering & Construction firm
- Skilled in drafting and negotiating design-build, EPC, and CM contracts
- Working knowledge of construction insurance, including professional liability
- Willing to travel up to 15%
