Role Overview
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and career development support for section members
- Conduct regular performance discussions, including goal-setting and feedback
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention activities
- Foster a supportive, collaborative environment that promotes growth and engagement
- Partner with program and functional leadership to understand workforce needs and resolve staffing challenges
- Champion continuous improvement in engineering practices, workflow, and team culture
- Manage administrative responsibilities such as timekeeping, training compliance, and salary planning
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with defensive radar systems and/or Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence systems
- Experience leading technical teams
