Senior Photographer

Role Overview

• Lead Reuters Pictures operations in Pakistan, overseeing daily coverage and planning
• Consistently deliver fast, accurate and compelling photography on breaking news
• Use deep local knowledge and trusted networks to secure distinctive visuals
• Manage relationships with stringers and contributors to ensure strong coverage
• Ensure the photo file meets Reuters quality and ethical standards
• Produce visual exclusives and support in‑depth visual storytelling projects
• Capture and edit video for multimedia news packages.
• Work collaboratively across teams, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment

Requirements

• At least five years’ experience as a professional photojournalist
• A strong record of delivering high‑impact reporting to Reuters standards
• Excellent news judgement and understanding of the global visuals business
• Creativity, technical expertise and sound editorial decision‑making
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
