Frame up technical scope of work for customer’s service visits, based on communication prior to contracting for service. Educate the staff which will conduct the customer as needed.
Maintain existing and develop new Service checklists and best-practices for field support staff to reference while in the field.
Ensure a path to closure on Service related issues, either directly or through technology updates with such opportunities shared with the technology SMEs and/or Sales teams.
Update and maintain the UOP Service Portal with Callidus information so that customers can self-serve to a greater extent over time.
Requirements
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or related science area of study or 10 years of hands on experience within chemical or mechanical engineering working with flares, burners and heaters.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time to destinations around the world, as needed. However primary travel expectations are for North and South America.
5 years of internal or external customer facing experience.
